TUR gas prices and how to contract them
The Last Resort Tariff (TUR) is the natural gas tariff regulated by the Government. Its price is reviewed every 3 months. There is no minimum duration and all consumers are free to contract it, although only reference retailers such as Energía XXI can offer it.
Contracting the TUR does not involve any cost and there are several modalities depending on annual gas consumption (measured in kWh). If you are interested in the TUR for a neighbourhood community with gas central heating, see the information on TUR for neighbourhood savings or TUR4.
If you decide to contract it, the change will take a maximum period of 21 days to be completed (provided the distribution company does not find any technical problems). The duration of the contract is 1 year and it is automatically extendable for periods of 1 year, but you can change your tariff (and company) at any time and without penalty.
