How to see the status of your application

Energía XXI offers you a new service so you can check the status of your Social Bonus application.

With the new Energy XXI service for the consultation of the status of the Social Rate application, you can check the status of your Social Rate application in just a few steps.

To check the status of your application, in addition to your ID/Tax ID number, you only need to know the CUPS of the electricity contract for which you applied for the Social Rate. The CUPS can be found on your electric bill in the "Contract information" section at the bottom of the right column, as shown in the image below.

To check the status of your application, visit the online consultation form that we have enabled, enter the requested information and you will be able to see the current status of your application.

Application statuses

Here are some important questions about the possible statuses of the Social Rate application.

Social Rate assigned

If the status of your application is "Assigned", this means that you have been granted the Social Rate and that you will see your discount on the electricity bill from the date legally established according to the criteria set forth in Royal Decree 897/2017.

You can also see the information about the degree of vulnerability that you have been assigned (vulnerable consumer or severely vulnerable consumer).

You'll also be able to see the date on which the bonus expires. Use this date to plan when you have to apply to renew the rate subsidy.

Incomplete or incorrect documentation

This status indicates that, after reviewing your application, we need further documentation or the documentation you provided is not correct according to the regulations.

A letter will be sent to the applicant to notify them of this fact. If you still haven't received written communication, don't worry, you'll soon receive information about what error was detected in the documentation and how to correct the issue.

Social Rate not assigned

In this case, after reviewing your application, it has been verified that the necessary requirements to receive the Social Rate are not met, the necessary or required documentation has not been provided, the application was not submitted within the deadline or it was not possible to make the calculation. The reasons for the rejection will be explained in writing and you will receive a letter containing the relevant information.
